“The gorgeous island of Sicily continues to seduce travellers with its dazzling diversity of landscapes and cultural treasures.”—Lonely Planet. Join us this Spring as we explore Sicily—from the storied streets of Palermo to the most famous of all Italian resort towns—Taormina. In between, we'll visit the picture-perfect town of Erice and travel the famous Salt Road. Explore the Valley of the Temples archaeological site in Agrigento—the most important testimony of ancient, classical culture in Sicily—and stop in Piazza Armerina to see the mosaics of the Roman villa. An ancient town perched high above blue seas and decorated with blazing red bougainvillea framing white-washed buildings, Taormina is Sicily's jewel. During our stay we'll enjoy a guided walking tour and a visit to Catania for a stop at the open air market and lunch and wine tasting on the slopes of Mount Etna.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR DEPARTING AND RETURNING TO THE U.S.
All passengers are required to complete the DPLF Digital Passenger Locator Form (https://app.euplf.eu/). We will be sending out specific instructions for this form as we get closer to departure.
The following link provides additional helpful information: https://ambwashingtondc.esteri.it/ambasciata_washington/en/sala-stampa/dall_ambasciata/ingressi-in-italia-dagli-usa-e.html
Currently masks are still mandatory outside, on public transportation, restaurants, museums and attractions. This may change by October as vaccination levels increase.
Negative Test Requirement
All airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older must provide a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within three calendar days of travel. Alternatively, travelers to the U.S. may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider of having recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel.
We have made arrangements for our group members to get tested at a local lab with minimal interruption to the tour schedule. The lab will deliver the tests to our hotel. The cost of the test is to be paid by the traveler at the lab. The exact date and price will be included in your final documents.
We will continue to provide updates related to mask and test requirements as we get closer to departure.
Please include the trip name and departure date in your message.
