Lake Garda: A Jewel of the Italian Lakes
We’ll begin with four nights in Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake and renowned for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque villages. We’ll visit romantic Verona, Brescia, with its airy piazzas, picturesque lanes and, possibly, the most beautiful historic center in the region and Bergamo, pretty as a postcard nestled in the foothills of the Alps. Explore charming towns like Sirmione, famous for its medieval castle and visit an agriturismo for lunch. Stroll along the lakeside promenades, savoring gelato as you take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Lake Como: Elegance and Serenity
Next, we’ll head to enchanting Lake Como, a destination that has captivated artists, writers, and travelers for centuries. Wander through the elegant streets of Bellagio, often referred to as the "Pearl of the Lake." Here, you'll find charming boutiques, lush gardens, and breathtaking views at every turn. We’ll enjoy a leisurely boat ride for scenic views of the stunning villas and historic towns dotting the shoreline. We’ll head to vibrant Milan, a city where fashion meets history and visit the magnificent Duomo di Milano, an architectural marvel that took nearly six centuries to complete and a breathtaking rooftop view.

Full-day guided excursion of Lake Como including a guided tour of Villa Carlotta, motorboat cruise to Bellagio. Please note that this tour includes guided walking tours where you can expect to encounter hills, uneven surfaces, cobblestone streets, unpaved roads and stairs. Participants should be able to walk for extended periods, typically around 2-3 hours a day and stand for long periods during the guided tours.
